Alisa Khan
Alisa Khan is an Attorney at Law who was admitted to the bar in Trinidad and Tobago in October 2000.
Alisa was a member of Trinity Chambers from 2000 – 2013. She is currently a member of Invictus Chambers and is involved primarily in Civil Litigation.

Experience
Alisa has practiced both as an Instructing Attorney and Junior counsel in trials before the High Court and Court of Appeal and as a Privy Council Agent at the Privy Council.
Alisa has instructed both Senior Counsel and Queen’s Counsel.
Alisa has care and conduct of civil litigation, and arbitration practice including research and drafting of pleadings, preparation of procedural documents, applications for injunctions, witness statements, affidavits, costs assessments, opinions on liability and quantum and legal submissions.
Her Practice also includes:
Preparing legal opinions, Wills, Contracts and Agreements.
Drawing and completing transactions such as Conveyances, Assignments, Leases, Bills of Sale, Deeds of Release and matters incidental thereto.
Making applications for Lost Grant, Certificates of Title, probate matters including the applications for grants of representation and letters of administration and advising on estate planning.
Advising and assisting clients in managing legal disputes and potential disputes.
Alisa is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.

Allister Khan has been practising as an Attorney at Law in Trinidad and Tobago for the last 13+ years.
In February 2008 Allister began his practice at Trinity Chambers, Edward Street Port of Spain under Mr. Desmond Allum S.C. In 2013 Allister was one of the founding members of Invictus Chambers.

Allister has appeared before the Court of Appeal, the High Court, the Industrial Court, the Equal Opportunity Tribunal, the Equal Opportunity Commission and the Magistrate Court in Trinidad and Tobago as both Advocate and Instructing Attorney at Law.
Allister has represented at the Industrial Court and the Ministry of Labour for Conciliation several Companies including Petrotrin, Hyatt, Acuitas, WASA, Agricultural Development Bank, Export Centres, Precast Concrete Services, Defence Installations, Coconut Growers Association (CGA), Oscar Francois Ltd, and Chatak Food Products Ltd. Allister has also given legal advice to several of these Companies.
Additionally Allister has represented private clients through Unions at the Industrial Court and at the Ministry of Labour.
Allister has appeared with Russell Martineau SC, Gilbert Peterson S.C., Israel Khan S.C., Addison Khan former President of the Industrial Court and several other eminent Counsel in the Courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
Allister has appeared for a number of clients in several high profile Medical Negligence matters against the Regional Health Authorities and against Private Medical Clinics.
Allister has appeared against several eminent Counsel in his career including Douglas Mendes SC, Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj SC, Reginald Armour SC, Alvin Fitzpatrick SC, Deborah Peake SC and others.
Allister was a member of the Board of Directors at the National Entrepreneurship Company Limited (NEDCO) for several years serving on the Human Resource Committee, the Audit Committee and the Legal Committee.
Allister is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
Allister possesses a B.A. in History (Hons) from the University of the West Indies, an LLB (Hons) from the University of London, an LPC from the University of Wolverhampton and a Profession Certificate in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University, Canada.
Addison M. Khan (Deceased)
Addison M. Khan, M.A., L.L.M., Attorney at Law, former President of the Industrial Court of Trinidad and Tobago, has over 45 years’ experience in industrial relations and industrial relations law.
Addison was a former Assistant Legal Adviser of Texaco Trinidad, Inc. He has appeared as an advocate in labour and employment cases in the Industrial Court of Trinidad and Tobago and served as a judge of that Court for nearly twenty years.
Addison had over 45 years experience in industrial relations and industrial relations law. He was a former Assistant Legal Adviser of Texaco Trinidad, Inc. He appeared as an advocate in labour and employment cases in the Industrial Court of Trinidad and Tobago.
Addison became a member of the Industrial Court on November 1st, 1986 where he served for six years before becoming Vice President in 1993. He remained Vice President for a further seven years before being appointed as President in December of 1999. He remained President until his retirement six years later in 2005.
Addison was also an elder in the Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago, held a Masters of Arts (MA) degree in Law and an L.L.M.
In 2010, Addison was appointed a member of the Police Service Commission (P.S.C.) to serve for three years. In 2013, he was reappointed to the P.S.C. to serve another three years.
Addison wrote two books on labour law, entitled: “The Law of Labour and Industrial disputes in Trinidad and Tobago”, and, “A guide to Occupational Safety and Health Acts 2004-2006 of Trinidad and Tobago.”
At the time of his death, 9 September 2015, he was working on the publication of yet another book, “The Law of Redundancy of Workers in Trinidad and Tobago.”
